Senior Strollers Walking Group
The Senior Strollers Walking Group brings together seniors who enjoy gentle exercise, fresh air, and good company. Our walks are designed to accommodate various fitness levels and mobility needs, making this activity accessible to almost everyone.

Our Walking Approach
We believe walking should be enjoyable, not strenuous. Our walks feature:
- Gentle Pace: We walk at a comfortable speed for all participants
- Rest Stops: Regular bench breaks along scenic routes
- Varied Terrain: Mix of flat paths and very gentle inclines
- Route Options: Different distance options to suit various abilities
- Safety First: Always with trained walk leaders and first aid kits
When and Where
The Senior Strollers meet every Monday and Thursday morning at 9:30 AM (10:30 AM during winter months). Our meeting location rotates between these beautiful settings:
- Riverside Park (1st Monday/Thursday)
- Botanical Gardens (2nd Monday/Thursday)
- Lake View Trail (3rd Monday/Thursday)
- Heritage Park (4th Monday/Thursday)
Special walks are occasionally organized to new locations or nature preserves.
What to Bring
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended)
- Water bottle
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
- Any personal mobility aids you normally use
- Optional: binoculars for bird watching

No registration is required—simply show up at the designated meeting spot! First-time walkers should arrive 10 minutes early to meet the group leaders and learn about our routes.
